Foxed & Fettled is for country house antiques that still have work to do. Georgian and Victorian furniture, sporting pieces, antiquarian books and the occasional small thing too good to leave behind.

Stock is found carefully, then restored where needed. Wear is part of the story. Loose joints, missing handles and tired finishes are dealt with plainly.

“Foxed” once described boots mended with new leather, as well as old paper and wood marked with age. “Fettled” means put back in good order. So the name means what she does: old things, put right.
